A day like yesterday

Oh!What a beautiful day yesterday
When you walked past me at the cafe
Those magical moments still linger
Felt like a song by my favorite singer

How soon I took you to my dreamland
It was a land unmanned
There was you and me
And the beautiful humming bee

Then the magical carpet swept us away
As we left the world behind us astray
Flew like those majestic kites
Over the city of blinding lights


I was holding you tight
Felt like love had finally shown its might
Didn’t want to lose you out of my sight
As we danced through this never ending night


My mind wanders
As I have thoughts to ponder
I sit by the side of the ocean
Deep in thoughts and full of emotion

Thinking about you, your beauty and your elegance
Can’t forget the smell of your fragrance
Am all by myself in this world today
Will I ever see another day like yesterday?
